If you’ve priced a kitchen renovation in Owen Sound recently, you know it costs a LOT to install new kitchen cabinets. But you might be surprised at the results (and the savings) you can get by painting your kitchen cabinets instead – if it’s done right.
First, I take photos to make sure we have a record of the original cabinet set-up. I remove all of the cabinet doors and hardware, and take the doors back to my shop to prep and paint. The cabinet frames, I prepare and paint in situ. When it’s all perfectly finished, I re-install the hardware and the doors.
Recently, a customer was selling her house near Owen Sound and had me paint the old oak kitchen cabinets to freshen up the kitchen. The buyers would all exclaim over the “modern kitchen”. She smiled and nodded.
